I just recently bought this can opener and I really loved it. It's convenient, hassle free and not complicated to use you just simply push the button and let it do its magic. I am really satisfied and would recommend this to my friends and family

I bought this for a special needs friend who only has 1 arm/hand available. He loves it. Can easily open cans because it works all by itself with the touch of a button. Cuts around the side of the can so no troubles trying to get the cut lid out of the can which also takes 2 hands. Had it for 4 weeks thus far. This quality unit has restored his ability to do what he loves and that it cook! I am going to get one for myself!

I bought this to replace a similar opener I used for years. I bought this one when it started malfunctioning. Sadly, the malfunctioning one works about as well as this. It takes about 4-5 turns to get the can opened enough to get the lid up. I'm really tempted to send it back, but the carbon foot print it'd make returning it is not worth it. Grrrrr

I got tired of cranking manual can openers, and cleaning them up. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to give this one a try. I like it. I think it's cute the way its little rear end goes up in the air when it starts working. I've only had it a couple of months, but no problems so far. It works well as long as you attach it to the can properly. It stays clean – it can go right back into the drawer with no washing. The sound changes when it has made a complete circuit around a can, which is helpful, because you can tell it's time to press the button to put it in reverse and stop it. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a little slower than I'd like it to be.

What can I say? This can opener works. I purchased it because my arthritis is so bad that I can no longer use a manual can opener. It works best on large cans, not so much on small things like tuna cans.But... my biggest complaint is that it EATS batteries!!! If you read every page of the instructions, way back at the end of several pages, you will find just one reference that says you should "remove the batteries when not in use for an extended time". Well, I don't know about you, but I don't open cans very often any more... so when I went to use this for just the second time the batteries were DEAD!!! And this adds up a lot when it takes four AA batteries.So, although it works, I cannot give it a rating higher than 3* because it is too expensive to run it.

I bought the other, cheaper model first. I loved it, until it quit working a week later. It was like it melted... I couldn't even open it to get my batteries out! So, I decided to try this model. It didn't work AT ALL, half-opening a can the first time I tried it and leaving a pointed, very sharp piece of metal sticking out from the rim. (Another reason I purchased this is because I'm a heart patient on blood thinners and live alone.) Fortunately, I pierced my finger on this but was able to stop the bleeding quickly! I recommend these can openers (if you can call them that!) to NOBODY!!!! Oh yeah... maybe I'm doing something wrong, but who knows? There were NO directions or "how to clean" instructions.

After reading the reviews here about this can opener, I thought it was some great revolutionary product that was going to make my can opening life so much easier! No such luck.After myself, then my husband tried to open a can we were left with tiny bits of metal dust and paper shredded into the can. (It took 4 or 5 times around to get the can open and even after that it wasn't a full-all the way around the can cut.Nightmare.Sorry, Kitchen Mama, I hate leaving bad reviews, but not keeping this one.

This is thee best can opener that I have ever bought ever‼️‼️‼️‼️I can’t believe how easy this was to operate and how it not only removes the lid but you can actually put the lid right back on it like it had never 👎 been removed‼️‼️‼️I am still in shock from this being thee best can opener ever‼️‼️‼️And I suggest if you have any kind of doubts about it please forget them because you will be blown away after you install the 4 AA batteries that you will have to buy‼️‼️This is thee best product for a can opener and I can tell you that my electric one ☝️ It’s going in the trash 🗑 right where it belongs because I have had nothing except for trouble with my electric one ☝️I am very very satisfied with my purchase and I wish that I would have gotten one ☝️ a helluva lot sooner than I did‼️‼️All that you have to do is attach it to the can and it the start button and then wait for it to stop 🛑 and then hit it one ☝️ more time and it goes back so that you can get the lid right off and you really don’t have to clean anything on it and if you do get anything on it just wipe it with a dry dish towel and put it away for it’s next use

This is one of those kitchen tools that just does its job. The simplicity of use is where this opener shines. There is a very small learning curve to get great results, taking just a couple of uses to understand the alignment requirements.Basically you need to tilt the body above the can (more than what I would expect) and push the button. It runs laps around the can until you tap the button again to stop. Afterward, set the opener on the counter and lift the lid off the can. I did notice shavings on the first couple of cans, but my wife showed me how to tilt the opener to eliminate this. Get this, she read the directions first!!! No, really. She did. Who does that?

I bought this for my mother, who has some problems with arthritis, and when we gathered around to see if it worked, we were all pretty impressed. It left the edge of the can crimped in a way that avoids those sharp edges, which I personally have been sliced by several times.At first it didn't seem like it was woeking, but then we lifted it and boom! Open can. I might get one for myself, honestly.

Update of previous review...Could not get to work so I was preparing to return but decided to try once more...it worked perfectly! Have no idea what I did or didn't do originally, but it worked and I have been using steadily since. I had purchased 3, 2 as gifts...recipients have used them and work perfectly for them. We are all pleased with this opener and would certainly purchase more for gifts.
