Keeping your grill grates clean is the drudge part of grilling. BUt the benefits include preventing your food from sticking and also getting those classic grill marks on your chicken and meat when you cook. IF you clean the grill after each use, the gunk does not accumulate and cleaning is much easier.This brush is the classic wire bristle type and is widely available. I have been using something like it for years and it is invariably the type that is most highly recommended in honest reviews. This one happens to be both sturdy and well priced.These brushes have a limited lifespan--I typically discard mine after a season and purchase another. It's a small price to pay for a clean grill.As a reminder, once you have scraped the grill clean with the brush, it is necessary to wipe it down with some warm water as a final step. Spraying the grill with some Canola oil once it is clean will assist in keeping it clean the next time you use it.

Lives up to its name. My ONLY constructive criticism would be the little plastic piece at the end of the handle, that the lanyard string attaches to, can come off. I superglued my last one. I used that brush for awhile, ordering another. This brush will be my mainstay.

Have been using for 3 months and we BBQ 2X per week.This brush quickly cuts through the caked on food stuff attached to the grill and the propane heat tube.Very durable brush on the whole.I would purchase this again, when the time comes.

If anything, this grill brush is overbuilt. Its all-metal construction (with insulated handle) is heavy gauge, with a reassuring heft. Because it’s stainless steel I can leave it outside hanging from our covered Weber gas grill without fear of it rusting. Though I’ve had it only a few weeks, I get the impression it will last a long time.But not forever, of course. It is in the nature of grill brushes that their bristles wear down over time. I’m sure this brush will be no different. Which brings me to its other great feature, its price. How the manufacturer can sell something so solidly made at such a bargain price is a mystery to me. After this brush wears out I’m hoping Amazon will still have this model available. Top marks!

I can't say enough good things about this grill brush! Works just as described and MUCH better than Weber, Charbroil or other name brand brushes for a fraction of the price. Just remember to use a pan of water and the brush to clean the grill grates as SOON as you take the food off the grill. (I'm usually using this time to let my steaks/meat rest anyway) Work from the hottest back grill section sideways, then repeat in the front. (That way the steam won't tend to burn/scald you if you are wearing short sleeved shirt.) The steam cleaning action is fantastic! You can even clean a cold dirty grill with this brush, but it takes more effort. If I don't get the grill cleaned immediately after using it, I'll preheat it right before next use, turn it off, clean it, then turn it on again.

I actually ordered this brush to finish some reclaimed barn wood that's all splintery, dirty, furry and flakey. I didn't expect much milage out of them so I ordered 3 just in case. Man! I only needed one! I did 150 sq ft. wall and still in perfect shape. I didn't see one bristle fall out of the thing and it's very strong. I'm glad I got 3 though because I will definitely use these on my 3 grills.
