Mine did have a slight dent on the edge, looks like someone dropped it on concrete wheel first or during production. That said, for the price it is a decent pizza cutter and seems fairly well made. Works great so far, heavier that others at this price range. Like everything, even the stuff that's made seemingly well can have that one fatal flaw that renders it useless or a bad purchase. So far so good, time will tell.

I had no reluctance in buying this Kitchen Aid pizza slicer. In fact, I went shopping for the Kitchen Aid brand. Why? My experience with Kitchen Aid products is simply this: they are better manufactured, they last longer, they are skillfully designed, they are generally dishwasher safe, and they do EXACTLY what they are supposed to do! I won't waste my money on an alternative when a Kitchen Aid product is available because I know what I am getting. This pizza cutter is a fantastic, sharp-edged slicer. It has a finger-protection shield, and it slices through pizza crusts of all types with ease. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes pizza and cannot wait to get that first piece on his plate!

Having worked in a pizza parlor when I was a teenager, I was always accustomed to cutting pies with a large chef knife. I decided on giving this wheel a run, and it worked perfect as advertised. I had to run it through a couple of times but overall was not bad for the price.

In general I like the, "KitchenAid Classic Pizza Wheel, 9-Inch, Red". I seems fairly sturdy and cuts effectively. My only reservation, and the reason for four stars as opposed to five is the cutting wheel itself. It is a bit light weight (thin). It flexes moderately. And the axle upon which it is positioned is slightly small for it's axle mounts. So it wobbles. The combination of the relatively thin wheel and the mildly wobbly wheel detracts from its rating as far as a quality product. Not sure if I would buy it again. I would start out by looking harder for a stouter Pizza Wheel cutter.

My wife and I had several pizza cutters prior to this one. Some of them were either flimsy, well built but not sharp, or would stop being effective after using it several times. We love this one. It is well built, sharp, and does exactly what it is made for. We are a big pizza family and use our cutters several times a week and are very pleased with the quality of this cutter.

Looks nice, but that's its only value. The finger guard looks like stainless (and most shoppers would reasonably assume it is), but shockingly, it's molded plastic.The handle is very 'flexy,' and it's obvious that there is not a full metal tang running through it, so not only does it not feel solid when pressing down on it during cutting, it's only a matter of time before it breaks off.Finally, the cutting wheel is only beveled on one edge, so the blade sharpness is very compromised and will not make an effortless, clean cut.

We love making our own pizzas, and I don't know why we waited so long to order such a basic implement. This cutter works incredibly well and glides right through even the thicker crust ones without pulling or disarranging the toppings. The handle is comfortable and has been easy for all different size hands to use to slice the pizzas. It has been easy to keep clean and has remained sharp through many, many uses at this point. Great price and quality.

I have no idea how or why, but our pizza cutter just disappeared one day. We haven’t seen it in at least six months. I bought this one without paying too much attention. First, the diameter of the cutting part was bigger than I expected (3”?). No biggie. I finally had an occasion to use it this weekend. I didn’t realize how terrible our old one was until I got this replacement. Wow! It cuts great on the first try. With our old one, it was usually a tricky game of back and forth to cut all the way through. This pizza cutter gets the job done on the first try. I’m a fan!

Definitely the nicest pizza cutter I've ever owned. Love it. Larger than normal pizza cutters, and you can easily feel the quality. Hopefully, it's heavy enough not to be left in pizza boxes and thrown away.
