So far, I’m really impressed with this little espresso maker. It’s easy to use and clean, seems durable, and does make really good espresso. The unit comes with a base for filling with ground coffee and a base for use with prefilled pods. I have only used the ground coffee pod base. I grind fresh coffee beans (Peet’s) to a fine powder (note the manual says to use course ground but seems to work fine with fine 🤷‍♂️) and use the included small scoop to dump into the coffee pod and tamp with the bottom of the scoop. I boil water in a kettle and pour some in the collection cup to warm it and pour into the tank to the max line. When you place the cover on the water tank, ensure the hand pump is in the down locked position so when you release it it will prime with water. I pump slowly but it doesn’t seem to matter that much to me. The result is a bold flavored espresso with a (surprisingly) nice thick crema. Some of the common complaints are that the coffee comes out not as hot as some like and yeah, I wish it was a little hotter but preheating helps and you can immediately drink it when it comes out so I’m fine with that. One negative that I noticed is that there is a silicone flap between the base that holds the coffee pod and the water tank that doesn’t come apart (I think) and seems to stay wet/hold water When the rest of it is dry so could be an area for mold risk but haven’t had any issues yet. Is it as good as the best espresso I’ve had? No. But it is excellent and for the price, portability, and ease of use/cleaning, I’m going to use this little thing a lot!

My daughter, a college student, is one of millions of coffee lovers in this world who cannot survive without drinking coffee.I bought this Moocoo Portable Espresso Machine as a Christmas gift for her!The Coffeemaker is small size and light weight，extremely handy and can be carried anywhere .

Came exactly as described. Easy to use, easy to clean, straight foreward directions. Also surprisingly good espresso is made by this machine. The cup which the espresso is dispensed into is very sturdy and has a nice design.

Got this so that my wife and I can have the occasional espresso or added shot to our coffees. Works like a charm. Decent cream and strong shot. The “glass” at the base doesn’t get hot and you can sip right from it if you choose. Advice: I read a few reviews that said it didn’t work or that the pumping did nothing. It really is CRITICAL that you have the pump secured down and locked FIRST after you have water loaded and ready. Then unlock it to release it so the button/arm rises. This primes the pump to be able to provide the seal/pressure for the action. Cleaning process is what you would expect from a device built for travel. If you’re making multiple shots, you just have to take it apart and wash out/put new grounds in the chamber or put in a new pod!
