This popcorn popper is so much smaller than our old one (which our family loved). They quickly fell for this new sleek, pretty popper. And my youngest thinks it tastes much, much better.

This product brings back a lot of nostalgia from when I was a kid, I was glad to find it. Aside from that, it’s a great product. Inexpensive, and works well. I’m vegan, so it’s nice to be able to have popcorn with my “butter”.... not to mention a healthier version than anything you would get at the store in pre-made bags.

Compact, easy to store. Heats up the kernels very fast and evenly. You can have several bowls of popcorn ready in a short period.

Bought this Dash popper for the **on-off button** that many hot air popcorn popper machines lack. It is a pain in the ___ to not have an on/off switch. The on/off switch is fantastic.This Dash machine is overall fantastic- owned it about 3 months. We’ve given it steady use.1. When we make popcorn we make 5 full batches in a row. This machine handles that no problem. Although I think it’s instructions say don’t do more than few batches... we have had zero problems and could keep going to make more if we needed.2. It is tall enough to handle a huge bowl under its lip, that is helpful. You can make big/double batches without worrying about overflow because your bowl’s too small because you couldn’t fit a larger one under it because machine’s stature was inadequate. Tall enough for a really big bowl is a helpful feature. I’ve had other machines that I had to perch on a book in order to get the bowl to fit under the lip.3. Fast - takes about 4 mins to pop a batch.4. Takes a great amount of kernels - Slightly more than other poppers , so you can make bigger batch than other machines. Takes s bigger load than the poplite machine.5. The plastic top **clicks** in to the base and is held there by little prongs - which is really really convenient- makes it more sturdy during popping and means it’s easy to dump in more kernels if you are popping lots of loads one after another because it won’t jiggle off when you touch it.6. The plastic top doesn’t melt. My last poplite machine - the plastic measure cup/butter holder cup top part melted partially- it was bubbled and slightly burnt on the bottom from ordinary use. The Dash plastic parts have not melted nor will they.7. Very efficient: the Dash machine pops virtually all of the kernels you load into it.With so many machines out there and so many contradictory reviews, I found it confusing to pick a replacement for my poplite machine - glad I picked the Dash. Had the poplite for years - and although it popped popcorn efficiently- I hated having no on-off button, hated the top would easily get knocked off, and it was gross that its top was so hot that it was partially melted. Dash is infinitely better than the poplite. Had an old sunbeam machine decades ago the lasted decades and was the best, but it got dropped and cracked and unusable- which led me to buy the poplite that I never really liked. Glad it got melted so I needed a replacement - the Dash is fantastic.I’d buy Dash over again.

I had one years ago and gave to to my son, when he moved out. Worked well and wanted another one.
