This product is wonderful for anyone who needs help opening any size jar. I couldn't do without this product.

Having had arthritis in my hands since my teens, I have used many jar/bottle openers out of necessity. The OXO ones work well, but wear out within a year because of the volume of usage. This fabulous opener has yet to find a container that it cannot easily open, even bottles of water with heavily sealed caps. I love it so much I ordered another one to have in 2 drawers on either end of my kitchen. The little extra black one is just as fantastic. This gripper does not exacerbate my carpel tunnel syndrome, either. I would give it more stars if I could.

I have had problems in the past opening a particular large juice bottle. Continuous aggravation. I was able to open the same type of bottle this week with ease. I did not need to apply that much pressure and the lid opened easily. I am not impressed with the smaller tool - that was just there. The large jar/bottle opener is what I wanted and like.

I really like this product. I’m in my 50’s and my hands aren’t as strong as they used to be. Plus I’m having some issues with arthritis in them, as well. I’ve been looking around for a jar opener for quite a while. I finally decided on this one, based on its reviews. People are right in that it’s not big enough for a jar of pickles or a peanut butter jar, but it works great on everything else. I especially love the small one to help with opening cans and bottles. I was kind of skeptical at first, because I thought I would have to squeeze it hard to get things open, however, that’s not the case. I hardly use any force and things just pop right open. I don’t know how it does it, but it works great. I would do a video, but I don’t have anything to open at this time. If I remember, I’ll try to do one at a letter date. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs help opening jars. It’s pretty sturdy and easy to use.

I was skeptical but this is one of the best product I’ve bought on amazon on a while. Had a ginger ale that really wouldn’t open. It hadn’t been frozen or shaken as far as I knew but had a few people try to open it with their bare hands and it was impossible that’s why I bought this and trust me, very worth it.

My mom recommended this jar opener to me - she has bad arthritis and has tried MANY different ones. I really like this jar opener and it has made opening jars so much easier! The rubber/silicone side grips the jar tops very well. (One thing that my mom showed me and it made it much easier - just squeeze at the end of the jar opener, not the whole handle). The big one gives me trouble but NOT DUE TO THE PRODUCT! I don’t have working thumbs but the small one I use to open my Sprite etc is a lifesaver!!
