I'm so used to the old style pizza cutter with a handle and all, but seeing the vast amount of great reviews, and in dire need of a pizza cutter after our last one broke, I decided to give it a try. It's definitely much MUCH easier to cut pizza with, the blade is very sharp, I feel like it's not really a struggle to cut through the pizza. It's not that hard to get used to either.My only complaint (which really isn't one) was figuring out how to open and disassemble it. Once you figure it out everything kind of just pops out. It's nice that it disassembles but it took me a second to figure out how. Just be careful with the blade once it's out.

I bought this almost two years ago, and somehow never got around to leaving a review, but this is just an awesome product. Seriously, you will never want to use a "regular" pizza cutter wheel again after trying this.You know that thing where you kinda have to slam the wheel through the crust to get it to go the whole way through? Not so here. The leverage is just all wrong on the old kind with a handle. This design lets you put pressure directly downward through the wheel, and it's amazing what a difference that makes. I am never going back.Okay, that's the product itself. Awesome! Now, nearly two years later, here's the service from the company.When I bought this, there were two main brands offering a very similar concept, and the reason I ultimately went with this one was that it offered a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. Being made of plastic, I figured it would break down eventually, and it did.When I sent them an email to ask for a replacement, it was at around 9:00 p.m. Pacific time (or midnight Eastern), so well outside of normal business hours. Nonetheless, they sent me a reply within 45 minutes! It was a no-questions-asked super-easy process to get a new one, and it arrived just two days later.So buy this pizza cutter wheel because it's awesome, but also buy it with confidence that it will be replaced as needed.Very satisfied customer here!

Excellent! Just love this new pizza cutter! I use it for more than just pizza. Try using it with sandwiches (PB&J's - Grilled Cheese - Quesadillas - Etc) I use this to help cut strips and cut into squares for my 16 month old. Works extremely well; cuts like butter.Love the plastic guard for using when the blade is stored inside a drawer. Most pizza cutters do not have this feature. I was a little concerned with how well it would was inside a dish washer--but I was gladly surprised to see it washed out just fine!I also love how your hand rest on top of the round part above the blade instead of having a handle extended outwards. This allows for better pressure and easier cutting.I replaced my Kitchen Aid pizza cutter with this one and boy am I glad I did! I would and will definitely buy this product again for myself and for others as gifts!

Very easy to use, the way cutting force is applied it’s easy to keep the cut straight. My elderly hands have trouble applying force through the cheap dollar store cutters but not with this.Heavy duty blade wheel, the wheel is surprisingly heavy duty, quite thick with no flex to it at all.Gigantic bearing bosses, the wheel rides in comparatively huge bearing bosses which distribute force nicely and I expect will prevent the eventual worn-out wobbling of other riveted-center designs.The slide open wheel protector is easy to open and close and really does protect the blade while it’s banging around with all sorts of other kitchen tools in a drawer.The blade is not what I’d call razor sharp and that’s good because disassembling it is a little fumbly. Because of the way force is applied through it and because the blade is so thick and strong it doesn’t have to be razor sharp to cut cleanly and quickly.The only negative is that the inside design of the retractible blade shield has some protuberances that are close to the wheel so that while you’re cutting any bits that stick to the blade can pile up inside the stowed shield. That makes disassembling and cleaning important every time you use it, as opposed to just wiping down the blade with a paper towel. I think I would prefer if the shield was a separate piece that snapped over the blade.

This cutter is awesome! I was a little worried when I purchased (the price was the deciding factor), but my husband -- the intended user -- LOVED it! Contoured to fit the hand perfectly, and our big mitts worked too 😊 I have to buy a couple more for us and for gifts! If u have wrist strength issues or find handled cutters hard to use to cut thru the crust, this is definitely the item for you!!
