We spend a lot of time chopping and prepping, and we really like this board because it's got such a smooth surface and the weight to stay put when you start to chop. The wood on this board is much denser than anything we've had before and it seems much easier on our knives. Plus, the wood is just beautiful and it looks great on the counter which is important to us because since we've had it it's been pretty much a permanent fixture of our kitchen.

I have had many cutting boards in my life but this one stand on top. Would make a great gift for a foodie. The grain on of this one is just stunning to look at. Defiantly becomes a conversation piece when you pull it out in front of guest.

I do not normally write reviews, but in this case, I would like to say how impressed I am with this ebony cutting board. Very durable, but at the same time, exquisite in craftmanship and beauty. I plan to use it as a presentation service platter.The West African ebony is extremely hard and looks to withstand a lot of wear, as long as it is maintained. The included maintenance instructions are excellent. If you do decide to purchase this board, please so read the instructions as you should clean the board with soap and water right away, before treating the board with mineral oil. Do the washing in a kitchen sink!The grains on both sides (marbled on one side, and mostly black on the other) are stunning. Others have already included their amazing pictures.It may be expensive, but in my opinion, it is worth it and also the purchase supports a good cause.I may pick up another for a special occasion.

Excellent quality. It is sturdy, love the handle! It makes chopping and cutting so much easier on the granite counter. I feel like a ‘chef’!

It was a perfect size and material is very good wood and i am happy to use this, It’s not big not small exact size for kitchen, also easy to clean. It is very steady, once you put it on the countertop, it does not move or slide. it looks so nice that it could be used as a platter to serve cheese and crackers!

My first thought when I took the Stella Falone cutting board out of its packaging? WOW, this is gorgeous! I washed and conditioned it as instructed, then placed it on the counter where the everyday cutting board sits. When he saw the board, my very practical husband asked "We're using this??" Yup, I had the same thought: perhaps we should keep it as decor, unused...a brief thought. We enjoy using the cutting board every day (when have you heard anyone say that?) - it's solid, functional, and beautiful.
