And yes, this one is great. Perfect size and it's very sturdy. Does a great job. The last one I had was much cheaper and the material started to come off in my food. It just started pealing off. Wow! I doubt it will happen with this one. Great product.

The masher does it's job perfectly and at the price I totally recommend. Only thing I don't like about it is that it leaves lumps in mashed potatoes but that is a given when using a masher but it was more than I thought. I did about 8 pounds of potatoes for thanksgiving so maybe the amount wasn't ideal for a masher. If you're looking for a smoother experience I recommend a Ricer. Only reason I bought this was last minute after I realized I didn't have my ricer anymore. 5/5

I looked in the stores for a traditional potato smasher. They are plastic and do not work very well and the potatoes get stuck between the close together tines. This is EXACTLY the old fashioned potato masher I remember from my mom. Just what I wanted!

I had a plastic potato masher before this that was awful to clean, so I decided to upgrade to this metal one and I'm so glad I did! This is very easy to clean and sturdy - the only downside for me is how big it is. It takes up a most of the space in our utensil holder, but I understand the size is to allow for a better mashing experience. Would definitely recommend!

I love Kitchenaid products and this is no different. It’s sturdy and gets the job done, whether you’re mashing potatoes or berries. It’s annoying to clean, but it’s not going to be any different with any other brand, so I don’t count it against this product.

This is a quality masher. After struggling with cheap plastic or thin metal mashers for years, I finally splurged an bought this tool. I was able to mash five pounds of potatoes in minutes with ease. It was also easy to clean. I can't wait to use it again and wish I had bought it years ago.
