There really isn’t an easy way to clean them other than just spraying water through them. I love them though. I like them much more than the other medicine paci we were using. With this one it sends the medicine straight to the back and a lot less likely for my daughter to spit it back out. Also allows her to get a good deal of suction on it so she usually just sucks the meds straight out. The only way I get her to take medicine. They just to to come up with a brush that will actually go the the hole to get a good clean

We purchased this because our fridababy medicine dispenser got stretched where the pacifier meets the syringe and would not reliably stay on. The Dr Browns comes with two sizes of pacifiers and the medicine goes out the end instead of offset like in the fridababy. Our baby also likes the oval pacifier shape better. The base of the pacifier that connects is a hard plastic so there won't be an issue with it stretching. The fridababy worked for us so not a bad product, we just like this better and as of this posting it also is a couple dollars cheaper.

We use mam pacifiers which have a wider, bubble like nipple. This paci dose brand medicine pacifier is nearly identical to mam pacifier nipples in both size and shape so she can't tell the difference. I gave her full dose of medicine in seconds! No spilling, no spitting out the paci. I bought the 6-18 month style despite my daughter only being 1 month old and it works fine. I've included pictures of a side by side comparison to the 0-6 month mam pacifiers we use for those of you wanting a size reference as well as a video of my 1 month old using it. I simply press the plunger slightly to allow her to taste the medicine, in this case is gripe water. She can suck the rest out herself without her choking or spilling a drop. The packaging states this product is free of any bpa or latex and suggests being hand washed, not dishwasher safe.

Our baby girl did not like taking any kind of medicine and would promptly spit everything out.I tried the Pacidose Pacifier and was expecting her to spit it out as usual, but she started sucking harder on the pacifier as it if were a bottle. Once I started the plunger, she actually sucked so hard that I didn't have to touch the plunger again and she sucked all the medicine out of the syringe.Great product! Thanks for making administering medicine less of a headache!

We LOVE our Pacidose! My 4 month old son has acid reflux & has to take a liquid medication daily... prior to getting the Pacidose we were simply using a syringe to squirt the medicine into the side or back of his mouth bit by bit, but he ALWAYS spat out about half of it or dribbled it down his chin. With the Pacidose he happily accepts the pacifier piece & then easily sucks down the medication without issue, ensuring that he's getting his full dose of medicine every.single.time. We've also used it to administer Infant Tylenol multiple times (for those of you who have had kids spit out that bright red liquid, you know that ensuring they swallow all of the medicine is really nice... and helpful in avoiding having red stains on bibs/clothing/etc.). We love this thing so much that we ordered another one & sent it to some friends who have a 6 month old who takes the same medication my son takes daily... & they love it too!We actually had an issue with our first Pacidose breaking about a month after we received it, & I contacted the company to inquire about whether there was a replacement policy or warranty available because we really wanted to continue using it, but didn't want to have to purchase another unit so closely to our initial purchase. I received a prompt email response from Dr. Scofield herself, asking me for my mailing address & ensuring me that she would personally mail us a replacement Pacidose immediately (she did!). That's true customer service in my opinion & we'll definitely be purchasing the next size up when my son outgrows the 0-6 month size in a few months!

Thank god for this product! Must’ve been designed by a mom. My 6mo absolutely refuses to take medications by mouth- to the point of spitting it out- and this product has been a game-changer! Works great for things like simethicone and baby Tylenol.So easy to use, but not super easy to clean. I don’t know if it’s dishwasher-safe, but I’d play it safe as the printed measurements on similar products have a tendency to come off when put the the dishwasher, and when it comes to infants you want to make sure the dosing is correct.

I never write reviews, but this thing is a lifesaver!!! My first 2 kiddos have always taken medicine without a problem, #3 is less than thrilled taking meds. She’s 7 months and has been quite ill with the flu and now an ear infection for a week. I just got this in the mail and used it immediately with her antibiotics and Tylenol. No mess, no fuss, no tears. Thank you Jesus!! I was concerned bc the shape of the pacifier is different than the nuk she’s used to but she didn’t mind. It’s shaped like a mam, just for reference!Thank You Pacidose!!

Absolutely magical and fits any syringe so if you’re on baby 2 or 12 and have 27 Tylenol syringes on hand- you’re good to go! I wish upon a star this were around when my daughter was a baby on reflux meds 3 years ago because if it had cost $1,396 I’d have bought it. We tried all the rest. Leaky, weird pacifiers, messy, inefficient and wastes of money- lots of wastes! This is magic. Meds are so easy. My son used to make spitting out constipation ease a sport- now be sucks it fright down in seconds like a champ and for a long time it was the only paci he could keep in his mouth!

I would give this more than 5 stars if I could.. this has been an absolute lifesaver in our house..we have a 4mo old with severe GERD (reflux), who has been taking medication since he was 2mos old.. trying to shoot a dissolvable pill into a 2-mo-old’s mouth was awful- it always ended in tears, usually with him spitting out the majority of his medicine.. the Pacidose changed everything- he actually likes taking his meds now, and will even hold the syringe with a smile on his face, while we shoot the medicine into his mouth. I was worried this wouldn't be able to handle the small pill particles, but it does the job wonderfully! We also use it for Tylenol doses, and he takes it, no problem!Thank you for making a product that actually works, helping to ease the stress of a parent with a child who has medical issues! The fact these come with both sizes of pacifiers is awesome, meaning we can continue using it, even as he gets bigger!

Only way I can get my daughter to take anything that isn't milk. Doesn't gag her, works amazing and she seems to actually like taking meds like this.Biggest con, after the first use the measurements on the outside rubbed off because it got wet from the meds I sucked up. Now I don't know if it's just the one I got :go figure: Having a newborn/preemie I need to know the measurements in order to give her the right doe, however this pulnger, no writing on it because it all rubbed right off after she used it once.

Everybody loves giving clothes and cute things to expecting mothers. As a nurse I can tell you that sometimes certain things will go a long way, and when that baby breaks their first fever, and the parents are able to give that baby some medicine without issues, they will certainly remember you, and your gift at 2 am in the morning. I usually combine this with a temporal thermometer etc, and make it a cute "medical basket" which always come in handy. Overall the item it is well constructed, it does not feel cheap and does what it is supposed to do. The price is perfect for the quality of the item you get. Highly recommend.

Great for giving my LO Tylenol. The only drawback is that the last little bit of medication gets stuck in the pacifier, so you have to draw up a bit more than you actually end up giving. LO wants to play with it a bit before he starts to suck on it, but once he does, it's super easy to squeeze the meds into his mouth. SO much less difficult than fighting with him to get the syringe in the back of his cheek. Fits the standard syringes that come with Tylenol and Motrin, so you can keep using the same syringe you're used to. Super great buy!
