Was sent home from the vet with a much larger cone that hit the ground with every step my dog took. Was genuinely concerned she was going to cause herself neck injury. Ordered this smaller cone and it was perfect. Admittedly, it did not cover as large of an area of protection, but for our needs, it was sufficient. Very sturdy and easy to place on & remove. Will keep it for future use.

Although, no dog wants to wear a cone, my dog definitely liked this one way better than the one the vet gave her. It was way more comfortable and it showed. She hasn't acted like it has bothered her at all and it has a comfortable cushion around the neck part. Highly recommend this product!

Great to fit multiple dogs/sizes. Flexible enough for dogs to move around without being able to chew or scratch.

Our dog has an obsessive paw licking habit. Our vet sent him home with a cone and ordered him to wear it for a 2-3 months until our poor fur baby is able to forget the urge to lock his paws raw. Our 11 year old lab figured out how to wiggle out of his prescribed cone within a week, and after a couple of weeks the cone was completely destroyed. We've tried a few others off Amazon and they've either faced the same fate or the sizing would be completely off. Our lab has a long snout and this cone is just long enough to block his licking while still allowing him to eat/drink for his bowl.. the soft lining helps keep the cone from cutting into his skin, and the lining in the rim of it protects our furniture. The cone material feels thick but doesn't look heavy on him. He's chewed through previous cones but so far this one has survived his attempts. While he's miserable in his cone of shame, we're glad our efforts are not in vain and he's getting the help he needs without giving us added stress.

We have a greyhound with horrible skin allergies. They get worse the older she gets. She had scabs that were getting worse and worse because she wouldn’t stop chewing. As the scab tried to heal it itched more and more so she would go to town. Nothing worked to stop her. Name a cream or spray and I’ve tried it. Store bought or home remedy. So last resort we ordered this cone to let her heal. It took a long time. Months! But cone held up and Velcro stayed strong. Being taken off multiple times a day to go walk. She did get it off a few times and that added to time but we learned the perfect fit to prevent it after a while. Cone is still in great condition and now at the first sign of a sore we can put it on for a couple of days and all is well! Very happy we found this.If ordering for a greyhound order a medium. Large very way to big for ours

Our 120lb Great Pyrenees isn’t anywhere as active or destructive as maybe a puppy, but I wanted to share that this cone worked. It didn’t splinter, rip, or anything. It held up to being slammed into furniture and walls for a whole month. The Velcro is seriously strong stuff on this cone- it sticks with a vengeance, and it takes two hands to undo to take the cone off. I couldn’t recommend this cone more enthusiastically! It has worked when I thought nothing ever would!!

The Velcro holds amazing even when our dog scratches and tries to push it off. She can roll around and dive on the floor on her side and it stays on and it doesn't shift or hurt her. It colaspes when she goes under the bed and she can climb out with no issues from the cone.

Our vet sent us home with a much larger and heavier plastic cone and sometimes when my pup walked the cone would drag. He was also struggling to sleep with it since he loves sleeping on his back. We got this cone as it seemed lighter and he could see through it, and he is definitely much happier wearing his cone around.Our pup is a larger pomsky, weighing 55lbs and we got him a large. If your dog has a longer snout I recommend sizing up.
