The sharpening tool works great! I was sceptical because I'd used similar sharpeners before on my knifes and wasn't too thrilled with the results. Decided on a whim to give this ago as a last sirch effort before having my knives sharpened for me but it ended up being perfect. My knives are back to razor sharp and the glove was a great bonus. The bottom of the sharpener has this foam that grips to surfaces so it didn't even slip when I tried on purpose. Great sharpener for a decent price. Only thing that could of made this experience better is if I had found this first.

I have sharpening stones, and a long sharpening steel, and a can opener that sharpens, but this is the best! It really is fast and easy. I got it primarily because I have a really good Japanese cleaver and nothing was getting it sharp, plus I've some old, ratty cheapos that have resisted sharpening. This little tool does them all, quickly and well. I haven't tried the scissors yet, but suspect that will work well also. I really am excited about it because since it's so quick and easy, there will no longer be dull knives hanging around and annoying me and my arthritic hands.

I am a long-time oilstone honer. Traditional sharpening was taught to me as a young boy. This tool is GREAT! The old way will result in a keen edge that is longer lasting. The tradeoff of doing a very quick dressing on Saturday mornings versus 2-3 hours once a month awesome.Both methods result in a sharp and safer knife edge. The fast & easy one needs weekly care. But it is a five-minute job.If it turns out I lose my skills through lack of practice, I won't mind at all! Very impressed with the design and performance. -Guyr8s

I received the package on time and even though I was surprised by the lightness of the product, once I used it, it worked well, my knife was fine and ready to use pretty fast. It also comes with a protective glove and with a clear instructions to help during the whole process.The packaging is the right size to fit the sharpener, the glove and the instructions which is good to help the environment.So, overall, is a good product and it worked well. I am satisfied.

This sharpener is sleek in appearance, is easy to use and works quite well. The degree of coarseness is labeled right on the product itself for those that don't read directions first. There is even a space for sharpening your scissors! An added bonus is that safety was kept in mind. The sharpener comes with a cut resistant glove, and has a feature that allows you to flip the sharpening block around so that you can get further life out of the product without risking sharpening your tools with your non-dominant hand. For all that you receive, it's very competitively priced. Would recommend to all.

This is the same sharpener as several $12-$20 listings here on Amazon. They look the same, packaging is the same, sharpening slots/rods are identical etc... I think these are all from the same factory just resold under different brands here. Does a decent job, puts a reasonably sharp edge on a kitchen knife in a minute or two with minimal effort. You can definitely get a better edge with whetstones or a much more expensive and complicated system but for 4 bucks it cannot be beat IMO.

I have never used a knife sharpener before but my knives are very dull so this was a necessary purchase. I was a little scared to sharpen a knife, but I think the way this product is designed, with the bar available to hold and secure the product, I think is much safer then a regular knife sharpener. It comes along with a glove which helps me feel more secure so it’s a nice bonus. Being inexperienced in sharpening knives, I was a little unsure which knife slots to use. I read the directions but I have a hard time with processing instructions and do better from watching a video or having someone explain it to me, but even with my lack of experience I found it pretty simple and fun to use and it did seem to visible that it sharpens my knives:) And I loved that it also had a special scissor slot for sharpening. That was a nice bonus!
