When the KPKitchen Pancake batter dispenser came in the mail, I thought it was a mistake. I had read all the reviews and they were fabulous! However, when the item actually arrived, it looked a bit flimsier than I had expected. The dropping and locking mechanism is plastic and I was wondering just how smoothly this item could really work and how leak free could really be. My mind was already calculating a 1 STAR review. The next thing I found in the package was an invitation to register the product which would come with a 100% guarantee that I could return the dispenser for a full refund if I was ever unhappy with it. This startled me as a company producing an inferior product would never offer this kind of product guarantee. My mind recalculated a minimum 2 STAR review. Of course, I would never review an item without using it first so I decided to test it on our family special Crazy Cake cupcakes today. These are cupcakes that are dark chocolate and they have a very thin batter like crepe batter. This batter can be a bit messy to pour as it comes out of the bowl quickly. Well, this little gadget is a star! I pumped out 24 cupcakes with no dripping. I was able to go back and easily even off the ones that had slightly less batter. They are in the oven as we speak. If you make cupcakes, pancakes, or crepes, do yourself a favor and get this wonderful gadget. I found that the lightness of the dispenser was an asset after you add your batter as it is not too hard to manage. I still need to test this with a heavier batter but as of now, if I could give it more stars, I would. I also do not know how it will hold up in the long run, but it worked smoothly and leakfree today. Good Job KPKitchen.

I was very excited by this baking tool. The first time I tried to use it, the batter was too thick and would not come out of the bottom. This contraption needs a more liquid type of cake batter to come out; however, there are several flaws in the overall design.First, it is a PAIN to clean. Even if you think you cleaned it the first time, when you go to use it again, you find that a fair amount of the previous cake batter has solidified in the bottom of the spigot. I has to use something akin to a nail file to clean out what I didn't see after my first cleaning.Secondly, the spigot at the bottom isn't designed for every last drop to come out. I had to push leftover batter towards the spigot, and even then, a fair amount would not come out. This contraption needs to be a little more funnel shaped at the bottom.However! This item does an excellent job with having no dripping batter issues, so it keeps the cupcake pan clean.I do have one complaint regarding the seller. When I received my item, there was a note inside saying that if I registered it online, I would have a lifetime guarantee replacement. Great idea, right? I go onto their site, I sign up, they offer coupons for other items they sell. Great again, right? Then I receive an email from them. The email went on about how it is such a wonderful thing for a mother to want to bake for her children when they come home from school. It was more detailed and in depth than that, but lets just say it is a summary. I thought this was annoying because I am not a mother and in this day and age, this could be even more offensive to other people who may be trying to conceive and are unable to do so. I do not like preconceived notions. Sell your bake-ware, do not make assumption, change your email to buyers please.

I'm not usually one to type up a product review unless something is either really good or really bad. This product is exemplary for many reasons. First off, after the first time using it to make pancakes, I realized I could never go back to my old method of pouring the batter onto the griddle, which was just using a 1/4 measuring cup. Secondly, cleanup is no harder than cleaning something like a baby bottle; you just have to make sure the spout gets a really good cleaning to avoid any residue buildup, so I would recommend cleaning it right after using it rather than letting it soak. Thirdly, it is now so quick and easy to dispense batter cleanly, whether it be onto a griddle or into cupcake liners or a frying pan or what have you. When I told my mom that I wanted to buy a batter dispenser, she immediately said it'll just be another kitchen gadget that takes up space and never gets used. Mom, you can keep your archaic methods of making pancakes and cupcakes with drops of batter accidentally going everywhere and inconsistent quantities; I'll forever use my batter dispenser.All those reasons aside for why this product itself is so great, it is amazing for another reason; the company. After I ordered this product back in October, I received an email from KP Kitchen asking if I was enjoying their product and if I could please write a review. I hadn't used it yet so I ignored the email and never got around to reviewing the dispenser. Three days ago on May 3rd, I was preparing to make some pancakes when I asked my boyfriend to clean the dispenser around the spout, since there was a tiny bit of residue from the last time I had used it that I guess I had missed from the last time. Just as I'm pouring my second cup of Bisquick into a bowl, I hear a loud SNAP and see that my boyfriend had broken the plastic handle of the dispenser in two places while trying to disassemble it to clean it (word of advice; it can't be disassembled!). Oh boy, did that ruin my day. I was in no mood to make pancakes after that. I knew there was no fixing it, so I hopped on my computer to order another one. I saw on the product description on Amazon that KP Kitchen offers a lifetime warranty on their product, so I took a chance and responded to that email they had sent me back in October. I explained what happened and asked if they would be willing to replace it. Patrick at KP Kitchen responded four hours later and they said they would gladly replace it, they just needed my order number or address. I sent it to them that evening and they responded saying I should have my new dispenser by May 7th. I got it just now, on the morning of May 6th, just three days after it was broken.I am floored by this company and this product! If I could rate higher than five stars, I would. If you are at all on the fence about whether or not to buy this batter dispenser, do it; even if you don't bake a lot, this product will make you want to bake more, and KP Kitchen completely stands behind their products. Thank you, Patrick, for your outstanding customer service. I will definitely be making pancakes tomorrow morning!

I purchased this product in April, 2017 and a small piece of the plastic handle broke this past Saturday, almost a year later. The break prevented the opening from shutting and the batter spilled out. I enjoyed using the product since it was easy to use and clean and made perfectly round pancakes. I went to reorder the dispenser when I noticed the lifetime guarantee which I has forgotten about.I sent an email to the company inquiring about the break and received a reply within a couple of hours. Not only did they thank me for letting them know of the issue but they promised to replace it within a couple of days. I was pleasantly and completely surprised when I received the new dispenser the very next day! KUDOS to the company, the product and the outstanding Customer Service.

Love love love this baking tool. Just bought it, just made cupcakes, and cleanup was beyond easy! Typically I loathe making cupcakes with my kids. lots of cleanup, spoons falling into batter, batter all over cupcake tin, but not with this dispenser! I even let my youngest (4y.o) and my 5 y.o pour the batter in the cups and even they didn't make a mess. This is definitely going to be a staple in my baking line up. I am almost tempted to buy one more, just in case I never see it again!

The media could not be loaded.  This works like a charm! I make rice cake all the time and its really hard to pour onto the small cups using laddle. Now I have this makes it so easy, such an awesome piece of device. Four star because the handle is a little not comfortable and hard to get the right position.

Love love love this baking tool. Just bought it, just made cupcakes, and cleanup was beyond easy! Typically I loathe making cupcakes with my kids. lots of cleanup, spoons falling into batter, batter all over cupcake tin, but not with this dispenser! All my baking relatives and I love this dispenser. The younger kids have even named theirs. Cannot imagine how we got by without these helpful dispensers. Great design and excellent service. Especially fun for kids who want to help with the cupcakes, as these insure uniform, neat results.

Finally a kitchen utensil that saves time, mess, and frustration! I ordered this because my 10-year-old daughter loves to make pancakes but she also leaves an incredible mess. She also loves to make cupcakes and that's even a double mess . So we searched Amazon to find something that would help us out, and lo and behold, we found this gadget. We read the reviews and were very impressed. Upon receiving the batter dispenser, my daughter took it out of the package and started making pancakes right away without my instructions. She loved the ease to make the pancakes in the container and then one click on the pan with no mess. Thank you for your excellent customer support!! We will recommend this to our family and friends and anybody else we talk to in the world.
