    I use my webeIr charcoal grill a lot and I love fresh fish. Problem was, unless I was very lucky, my fish would stick to the grill, no matter how much spray oil I put on it.So, I started reading about Grill-Mats.. It took a while to work through all the different brands but eventually settled on this brand. It had some good reviews and some not so good reviews. I was not convinced, but ordered anyway. Five mats for around $20 was a reasonable investment.I received them quickly and carefully read all the directions (I didn't want to mess this up on my first try).I found some nice thick pieces of fresh Cobia and decided it would be the test case.I set up the grill with a good load of charcoal and lit it off. Once I had a good gray charcoal fire, I spread it around evenly. I placed my grate on the grill.I sprayed the up-side of the grill mat with a very light coating of Pam and placed it on the grate.I place my fish on the mat and closed the lid. I had a fire at about 340 degrees. I gave ti about 6 minutes on the first side, then flipped. Yes, there were grill marks.. Sides two and three only took maybe five minutes total and both of these sides took grill marks. Overall, a nice looking fish.I noticed that unlike with the fish on the grate, I could easily slide the fish around on the mat with no loss of meat.After dinner, I placed the mat on the counter top and gently washed the up side with dish soap and water. It cleaned up very easily and was totally clean within a minute or so.I inspected it and found no burns or damage on either side.Overall, I am very impressed with this product. It works exactly as advertised and appears to be pretty durable.I will see now long the first mat last with decent care.

    I was first skeptical about this product for its price, but its the best investment i have made. 2 weeks ago i cleaned out my grill, got all the gunk out. I have been thinking about getting a grill mat just to see how it worked. Today, i grilled korean short ribs, and the marinade calls for brown sugar, it would stick to my grill and char and hard to clean. This time, everything slid off the mat, easy to clean, and a plus i dont have to clean my grill. From the picture, any grease or juices from what you are gilling wont go through the mat. It also keeps it there to help your meat moist and almost fry on itself. I love it. And this pack comes in 6 and i used 2 for my grill and can reuse these 2 and have 4 left for extras when these either burn or whatever. I recommend this product.

    I use these on my Weber charcoal grills. Great for cooking veggies and fish. One caution, be careful with oil; these will channel oil and could cause flare ups.On a side note, I was making dolphin fish (Mahi if you must) with Cajun seasoning. I had a little oil on the mats, set the fish on and the oil spilled into the coals. The fire jumped up to the grill mat, I immediately put the lid on and - it being a Weber grill - the flare up was instantly extinguished. Presto! Perfectly blackened.

    My wife likes grilled salmon but the fish was always sticking to the grill or breaking apart. I thought I'd try these. They work perfectly. The fish grills perfectly and doesn't stick. I've also grilled burgers using them and they come out the same as grilling without them but I don't get all the flareups I used to get. I've also put them in the dishwasher to clean them which is great so they can be used over and over.

    These things are INCREDIBLE! I use my cast iron skillet A LOT and it makes a mess from cooking oils, etc. I use to make a huge tin foil spring to wrap around the pan. Now, I throw these down around the burners and clean up is easy!! Just wish I could get them in one large piece. I even put the UNDER the ednmge of the pan while cooking. They dont burn.

    I bought 2 of these mats early last year and was impressed with how well they worked, so I made this purchase to have extra on hand. They do wear out and I don’t wait for them to tear or get holes before replacing. They last a good long time as long as I gently scrape the residue off and wash them with warm water and a grease cutting dish detergent (Dawn). I use a no scratch sponge and they clean up pretty well. Careful of extreme grill heat such as grease fire from fatty meats. Extreme temperature will reduce the life of the mat. You do get grill marks and food tastes great. Would recommend this to family and friends.

    I use mats on our gas grill with everything from meats and fish to fruits and vegetables. Nothing is sacrificed to the grill gods! Flare ups are a thing of the past and I am sure I am lengthening the life of my grill. There were pricier versions of these and I say why? No reason to pay more. I do not store the mats in the box they came in, preferring to store flat for quick availability on grill night which would be every night except for rain! Clean up is extremely easy, a little mild dish soap, even for charred bits, and ready to go! Don’t hesitate.

    I purchased these grill mats to help protect against cross-contamination of gluten on public grills. With celiac disease, this is very important for my health. The mats did a perfect job of grilling our burgers, steaks and hot dogs. They all turned out tasting grilled, unlike other methods I have tried. I used these on a gas grill. Perfect solution for clean grilling! The mats clean up very well. After use, I would suggest using a dish brush with hot soapy water to pre-clean. Then wash with a soft sponge or cloth in clean, warm soapy water to get the final residue off of the mat. It is easy to clean and works well time after time.

    This Grill Mat actually does eliminate the need to clean your grill! We have an electric grill (condo rules). Before we got the mats, our grill got crusted and filled with fat. It was miserable to carry the grill from the patio to the kitchen. You had to wait until it cooled and then spend lots of time cleaning the greasy grime off it. We have used these mats 4 times - hamburgers, steak tips, and chicken. The mats hold all the fats without letting any touch the grill. On each and every occasion, we were able to wipe off the mat after cooking and then bring just the mat into the condo for a light rinse. The grill looks like it's never been used. I LOVE this product!
